3 UNFORGETTABLE STATEMENTS MADE BY DR. OLATUNDE AGBATO OF ANIMAL CARE

I have known Dr. OLATUNDE AGBATO for over 30 years. I got to know his company ANIMAL CARE when I was a sales representative in Pfizer Animal health in 1988/89 covering Oyo and Kwara states.

I respect him greatly. I admire his doggedness and focus and he has been a great inspiration to us all in the farming industry and most especially to the veterinary profession as a whole.

In the course of over two decades I have heard him made three powerful statements that can instruct, inspire and motivate all of us in the farming industry.

I am going to share these three powerful statements in this edition of AGRIC INDUSTRY GIST for your benefit.

1. YOU HAVE TO BE A STONE TO SURVIVE AS A BUSINESS PERSON IN NIGERIA.

He made this statement several years ago when he came to make a business presentation to the NIGERIA VETERINARY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION, LAGOS STATE CHAPTER at the NECA house.

I can never forget this statement. It has really helped me in my business exploits in Nigeria. It taught me that one has to be resilient and dogged as a business person.

This concept will help you too.

2. ONE OF THE SECRETS OF MY SUCCESS IN BUSINESS IS THAT I KEPT RE-INVESTING MY PROFITS.

He made this statement when he was celebrating 30 years of ANIMAL CARE existence. I was privileged to be among the press team that interviewed him in his corporate office at Ogere.

Wow, I have shared this secret with thousands of farmers through our publication, FARMING ADVICE DIGEST and through our numerous seminars at the WORLD FARMERS CENTRE.

This great insight will benefit you too.

3. THE PROFITS IN THE EGG PRODUCTION BUSINESS IS AT THE RETAIL END.

Dr OLATUNDE AGBATO made this statement this year during a ZOOM meeting with the egg producers in Nigeria.

I can never forget this statement because it captures the essence of my incessant message to farmers in Nigeria that marketing is the way to go if they want to really enjoy farming.

How I wish all farmers can copy this statement on a card and look at it day and night to help them scale their farming business.

APPRECIATION

Thank you DR. OLATUNDE AGBATO for these great statements above. Thank you for being a great role model. Thank you for taking the lead. Thank you for standing strong.

🙏 Please share with as many people as possible to help them scale their businesses.

We do everything possible to supply quality information for farmers day in, day out and we are committed to keep doing this. Your kind donation will help our continuous research efforts.
