3 SECRETS BILL GATES TAUGHT ME THAT CAN MAKE ONE SUCCEED IN FARMING

Naturally, I admire Bill Gates for many reasons which could be obvious to many people. He was consistently the richest man in the world at a time for more than 16 years. Going through his stories from many sources, I could glean some fundamental secrets among others that have helped him to succeed in life and business.

Trust me, I am doggedly applying these secrets to my life and business too and they are working! I am sharing three of these secrets below to help serious farmers succeed in farming.

1. NEVER BE AFRAID TO TRY BECAUSE YOU ARE AFRAID OF MAKING MISTAKES.

Bill Gates once said, “We can afford to make a few mistakes, and we can’t afford not to try. We will continue to have failures, some of them visible to the public, others not so visible.“

This is a powerful outlook to life. If we say we won’t embrace new trends in farming because we might fail or make mistakes, we will be the loser ultimately.

2. NEVER JOKE WITH A CONTINUAL DETERMINATION TO BUILD YOUR CAPACITY.

Bill Gates once wrote, “A couple of times a year I go away for a Think Week, during which I read books and other materials my colleagues believe I should see to stay up-to-date.”

I will continue to state it that the farmers that does not embrace knowledge will continue to fail and suffer.

3. NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON FRIVOLITIES.

Bill Gates is as frugal with time as he is with money. He once said to me, “There are always more challenges than there are hours, so why be wasteful?

If farmers can deal continually with wastage of precious resources on the farm, they will make more profits. I have noticed that the most successful farmers that I interviewed are ardent practitioners of frugality.

We do everything possible to supply quality information for farmers day in, day out and we are committed to keep doing this. Your kind donation will help our continuous research efforts.
