The great truth is that there is no lack of employment in the farming industry but there is lack of employable candidates. I should know better because I have so many clients looking for employable graduates.

- Develop yourself beyond your certificate. When I finished vet school several years ago, I discovered on getting employed that the real school begins after graduation.
- Get some skills at all costs. If you have to borrow money to get these skills, do it for God’s sake! Get driving skills. Get computer skills. Get skills!!!
- Be ready to do volunteer work with no pay in a place you like to work. Make this vital sacrifice. This is a vital secret.
4. Attend my Vet and Agric Graduate Trainee Scheme where you can be exposed to the real functions of the jobs you are applying for in the farming industry and be ready to pay for this knowledge. Whenever we want to commence a new set, you will know.
