7. CREATIVITY. Mostly all financially successful farmers are creative. Creativity can help solve most problems in the farming business. Creativity makes money! I have personally made millions of naira from creativity.

8. ADAPTABILITY. Inability to adapt quickly to changes in the business terrains will cause untold suffering for some farmers. A farmer should be able to rough things out on a consistent basis. He or she should be able to turn adverse periods to opportunities to make speedy progress. Check the stories of financially successful farmers; you will discover that they made it through thick and thin.

9. MOTIVATION. Financially independent farmers are self-motivated people. They don’t wait for people or circumstances to encourage them. They looked for what they want to see happen and if they can’t find it, they create it themselves. They are action people.
