ALLOTMENT OF CBN MAIZE TO PAN OYO MEMBERS.

Distinguished PANOY members, With reference to the CBN maize to PANOY farmers in the month of February, 2021, I wish to inform the house that 10,000 Metric Tonnes was released to South west PAN, from which 2,200 metric tonnes was allocated to PANOYO.The maize is to support poultry farmers across the state to cushion the havoc effects of maize scarcity on our farms/businesses.
Meanwhile, the association has decided to distribute the maize to each of her chapters accordingly in an upfront payment arrangement on or before Friday 26st of February, 2021 to PANOY account.

Cost: #175,000 per tonne

PAN LAGOS IKORODU ZONE

Great Farmers,

You will recall that the Federal Government of Nigeria through the CBN promised to assist us with 30,000MT of Maize to help Cushing the persistent high cost of Production. This is the result of our Cry through the South West zone of PAN to our National leadership.

I am however happy to announce to you that 10 trucks of this product has been allocated to Ikorodu zone at the cost of 160 Naira per kg excluding Logistics. An additional 20 naira per kg was agreed by Exco to cater for Logistics down from the North to make the Landing cost 180 naira per kg.

We have also agreed that all members be allocated 2 metric tons each I.e 50kg X 40bags at the agreed sum of =N=180,000 naira per ton = 360,000 naira.

Members are to indicate interest and pay to our First Bank Account 2031754501 on or before 7pm on Thursday 25th February, 2021 failing which the remaining unsubscribed quantity will be put forward to interested members for purchase.

1. Payment of 2021 and 2020 (where relevant) annual due by the farmer.

1. Micro farm (<2,000 birds capacity) due is N5,000 P/A
2. Small farm (>2,000 but <10,000 birds) due is N20,000
3. Medium farm (>10,000 <50,000) due is N100,000
4. Large farm (<50,000 >200,000) due is N200,000
5. Mega farm (>200,000 birds) due is N400,000

2. Zonal Chairman’s approval of the farmer

3. Mininum order per allotee of 30tons for ease of logistics (2 or 3 farmers can be encouraged to merge together but payment shall be made by only one farmer and the mergers shall be at the discretion of the farmers)

4. All payments shall be made directly into PANOG’S current account.
5. A payment window of not later than 5 days after announcement of maize allotment
6. Past activities of member with the association.
300 tons(10 trailers) was allocated to each zone
Price of maize ₦160/kg
Administrative levy ₦2/kg
Logistics yet to be determined but estimated to be #15/kg
