The National Policy that ’ll Transform Agriculture In Nigeria
The Minister of State for Agricultural and Rural Development, Mustapha Baba Shehuri, has given the assurance that the implementation of the National Agricultural Technology and Innovation Policy (NATIP), 2022- 2025 will transform the agriculture sector and fast track its revolution in Nigeria. Shehuri gave this assurance in a statement, while reacting to the just ended national validation exercise of the NATIP draft 2022- 2025, held in Abuja recently.

According to him, the policy will enhance access to improved inputs and create a nexus among the research and teaching institutions as well as improve the level of agricultural mechanisation in the country. Also, Shehuri said the policy will boost agricultural extension service delivery, create access to finance, and ensure the security of agricultural land and other related investments in the country.
