Our client is seeking to fill the position below with a qualified professional
COMMERCIAL BROILER PRODUCTION MANAGER
LOCATION: OTTA, OGUN STATE
The Goal of the role includes:
Learn MoreTo oversee all operations in the farm and ensuring all aspect of running a profitable commercial broiler farm are met, managing and ensuring welfare of birds.
About the Role:
Responsible for managing Commercial Broiler with 100,000 – 160,000 capacity to cropping stage in 38days and not less than 8 pen houses.
Placement of over 40,000 day old chicks weekly.
What we are looking for;
Candidate must possess a Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Animal Production and Health Science or Animal Nutrition.
Master’s degree or other degrees in Business Management, Finance, Agribusiness, Production or related subject would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years and above working experience as a Production Manager
Must have experience in commercial broiler breeding and poultry workmanship
Candidate must possess proven leadership skills
Candidate must be an effective communicator, passionate and committed
Must be detail oriented and well organized with a great ability to multitask
Knowledge with the regulatory bodies regarding poultry farming and value addition
Candidate should be proficient in computer knowledge generally
Knowledge of environmental and biosecurity management
