What a Man did to a Teenager Over Grazing Land Dispute
A 16-year-old boy, Abubakar Sulade, has suffered a deep machete cut in his arm during a quarrel between farmers and herdsmen over grazing land for cattle in the Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.
A herder, Bugi Juli, has been arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for attacking a 16-year old farmer with a machete.

The spokesman of NSCDC, Babawale Afolabi, in a statement on Saturday in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, said the suspect cut Abubakar Sulade’s hand following a confrontation over grazing land in the Kaiama Local Government Area.
According to the statement, the attack is as a result of an ongoing misunderstanding between farmers and herders in the area.
The NSCDC spokesman explained that the matter was reported at the NSCDC Divisional office, Kaiama, and a manhunt was launched for the assailant and his accomplice, saying that they were later arrested.It was learnt that the incident happened in Sulade village on Friday.

Afolabi said, “There has been a long-term face-off between two families over grazing land, which took a bloody turn recently when one family attacked others with machetes, which resulted in the grievous bodily harm to one Abubakar Sulade, 16, who got a deep cut on his hand.”
