Job Role/Title: Broiler Processing Manager

Job Objective:

-Advertisement-

– Provide strategic supports by leading and coordinating the broiler processing operation in a manner that optimizes the available human and material resources, and compliant with the approved corporate standards, policies, practices and forecast to achieve agreed production and financial targets

– Contribute to the attainment of the company’s strategic objectives by constantly improving on the

product yield percentage/efficiency targets, capacity utilization, approved policies, procedures,

programs and blueprint across the production sections namely:

– Production

– Cold chain & stock management

– Facility maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the broiler processing operation by;  Ensuring availability of production inputs/raw materials necessary for daily production to take place

Ensuring the processing operations, finished products and other unit activities are conducted professionally and in compliance to company’s stipulated SOPs, regulatory standards and protocols and same is confirmed with checklist or other applicable documents

Developing daily workplan and ensuring proper planning & implementation to achieve desired result  leading compliance at the subunits/sections to set hygiene protocols related to the plant operation, equipment and personnel that guarantees production of wholesome product

Providing innovative ideas that can facilitate achievement of the operational business objectives

Participate in drawing up of strategic and actionable plans, annual production and manpower

forecasts for the division towards the achievement of business objectives and goals for the financial year

Commit to food safety and quality assurance objectives by developing control around the flow of product which guarantees:  prudent stock management  and only products that meet the company, customers and regulatory specification are dispatched from factory to the final customers

Mentor reporting assignees by providing technical /professional guidance towards their capacity development

Conduct weekly meeting to evaluate performance of respective sections or flock under the unit Approve off-duty roster submitted by reporting supervisors for officers and attendants

Ensure good maintenance of all processing equipment and facilities in your section

Keep accurate record of production, inventory, grading, finished products and collates requisites report on daily basis which tracks:

Product yield per specification/SKU

Mortality in line

Facility and raw material utilizations (packaging material usage)

Production & financial performances in relation to budget  submit monthly assessment report of your supervisors based on set KPIs and co-sign their annual performance appraisal forms

Carry-out other functions that may be assigned to you by Head of Food Processing or the

management from time-to-time in attainment of the department goals

1) Carcass Retention (%): actual vs target

2) Offal & Chicken Parts Retention (%): actual vs target

3) Whole Chicken Production Volume (kg): achieved quarterly production volume vs target

4) Operation Profit Margin/Contribution: actual vs target

2. Job Role/Title: Hatchery Coordinator

Job Location: Kwara State

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reporting to: Head of Farms Operation

Job Objective:

– To lead the achievement of set production and financial targets of the Hatchery in a manner that optimizes the available human and material resources, and is compliant with the approved corporate standards, policies, practices and forecast.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the hatchery operations by:

Developing protocols and standards for operations, hygiene, sanitation, biosecurity and engaging in continuous review to guarantee effectiveness and product quality

Ensuring activities are conducted professionally and in compliance to the approved

SOPs, standards, protocols and same is confirmed with checklist or other applicable documents.

Ensuring proper planning & implementation of daily work plan.

Collating all approved requisitions at least 24 hours ahead of use date and facilitate timely transfer of all local requisition from store.

Ensuring compliance at the Hatchery to set operational and structural bio security plans of the company

Ensure facility fault reports from the supervisor are treated with alacrity and necessary preventive or corrective actions are taken for issues within your control and such recommendations form part of your daily report.

Participate in drawing up strategic and actionable plans of the department towards the achievement of set goals for the financial year.

Mentor reporting supervisor and trainees while providing technical and or professional guidance towards their capacity development.

Keep accurate record of operation/production and collates requisites report on periodic basis (daily, weekly, monthly) which tracks;

a) production and financial performances

b) Input requisition and utilizations

c) Operational efficiency and waste ratio (rejects, infertile, eggs transferred, etc.)

Support the Farm Manager to coordinate weekly units’ meetings for review of performance progress and possible militating factors in respective sections.

Approve off-duty roaster submitted by reporting supervisors for officers and attendants

Ensure good utilization and maintenance of all equipment and facility in the Hatchery

Carry-out other functions that may be assigned to you by management from time-to-time in attainment of the department goals

Job Location: Kwara State

Reporting to: Head of Sales and Marketing (HSM)

Job Objective:

– To contribute to the attainment of the company’s strategic objectives by taking direct responsibility for the vending and merchandising of company’s products (frozen chicken, day-old-chicks, culled birds) in the assigned region in compliant with the approved corporate standards, policies and practices.

– Provide innovative ideas in support of strategies for the profitable growth of company sales, revenue and bottom-line.

Key Responsibilities:

 Promoting and selling company’s products to prospective and existing clients through persuading and influencing techniques in the region

 Collating order, confirming prices and product requirements of prospective and existing customers

 Liaising with the HQ to ensure efficient and timely delivery and distribution of products to the region

 Keeping record of customer’s sales data vis-a-vis; name, location, contact, purchase order, payments, receivables

 Developing and adopting innovative customer retention strategies and client relationship

management techniques that are compliance with company policies

 Support the actualization of the unit goals and targets by:

Contributing to development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems, structures, policies, processes and tools that assist the company identify and maximize revenue opportunities in the assigned region.

Proactively identifying and tracking changes/trends in poultry products purchase and consumption patterns/requirements to improve sales strategies

– Develop and lead the execution of innovative ideas and strategies for the profitable growth of company revenues and deliver the company’s sales objectives across all regions in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Develop, implement and continually improve systems, structures, policies, processes and tools that assist the company identify and maximize revenue opportunities from its target markets, customers and products.

Remuneration: N 938,828 to N 1,272,482 per annum with incentive-based pay of between N240,000 to N480,000 per annum
