1. PIGGERY SENIOR SUPERVISOR

The Goal of the role includes:
To oversee all operations in the farm and ensuring all aspect of running a profitable commercial pig farm are met, managing, and ensuring welfare of pigs.
Intensive hygienic swine husbandry practice
About the Role:
Responsible for managing and overseeing the breeding and raising of pigs.
Implementing and maintaining breeding programs to ensure the quality and generic diversity of grandparent pigs.
Keeping accurate and precise records of piggery operations.
What we are looking for.
Candidate must possess a Minimum of bachelor’s degree in animal science, Veterinary Science, Animal Production and Health or Animal Nutrition.
Minimum of 5 years and above working experience as a piggery manager
Must have experience in commercial pig breeding and piggery workmanship.
Candidate must possess proven leadership skills.
Candidate must be an effective communicator, passionate and committed.
Must be detail oriented and well organized with a great ability to multitask.
Knowledge with the regulatory bodies regarding pig farming and value addition.
Candidate should be proficient in computer knowledge generally.
Knowledge of environmental and biosecurity management.
There is Group Life Insurance and Workman Compensation in cases of death or accident at work respectively.
The Position is Pensionable after the Confirmation of Appointment.
Accommodation is not available on the farm currently but accommodation around the farm are cheap. The farm can help secure one.
Salary is between 100k to 150k depending on experience and what you have to offer
2. AGRONOMIST SENIOR SUPERVISOR
LOCATION: OWODE EGBA, OGUN STATE
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a graduate of crop production or has good experience in crop production
Must posess minimum 5 years hands on experience working with Greenhouse and open field.
Must be able to effectively supervise workers to get the best results
Must possess a Growth Mindset
Must have practical experience in crop management to get maximum yield
Must be honest and hardworking
Accommodation is not available on the farm currently but accommodation around the farm are cheap. The farm can help secure one.
Salary is between 100k to 150k depending on experience and what you have to offer
