She therefore appealed to government to consider women farmers while drafting agricultural budget and sharing fertilizer and other farming inputs.

The project manager of the Bauchi State Agricultural Development Program (BSADP) Alhaji Jafaru Ilelah, speaking at the dialogue, commended the organizers of the meeting saying it was timely that the board would partner with non-governmental organizations to revamp agriculture in the state pointing out that government alone could not do it as it has too many responsibilities.

The program officer of FAWOYDI Mr Tosin Suberu explained that the meeting was aimed at assembling farmers and stakeholders in agriculture in the state and rubbing minds with a view to boosting food production to achieve hunger free society.
