REQUIREMENTS
Learn MoreYou must have at least two years experience planting the popular salad vegetables.
You will be considered if you have experience in vegetable crop farming but have never worked on an organic farm and you are VERY willing to learn the organic methods.
Must be honest with good attestable character and work ethics
Must be ready to work strictly with the organic style of farming and not introduce anything inorganic to the farming system
Must be ready to live on the farm 24/7 with arranged times off.
Comfortable accommodation is available
Must be ready to work with Benenois and overcome any culture differences
2. PIGGERY MANAGER
Location: Otta OGUN STATE
The Goal of the role includes:
To oversee all operations in the farm and ensuring all aspect of running a profitable commercial pig farm are met, managing, and ensuring welfare of pigs.
Intensive hygienic swine husbandry practice
About the Role:
Responsible for managing and overseeing the breeding and raising of grandparent pigs.
Implementing and maintaining breeding programs to ensure the quality and generic diversity of grandparent pigs.
Keeping accurate and precise records of piggery operations.
What we are looking for.
Candidate must possess a Minimum of bachelor’s degree in animal science, Veterinary Science, Animal Production and Health or Animal Nutrition.
Master’s degree or other degrees in Business Management, Finance, Agribusiness, Production, or related subject would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years and above working experience as a piggery manager
Must have experience in commercial pig breeding and piggery workmanship.
Candidate must possess proven leadership skills.
Candidate must be an effective communicator, passionate and committed.
Must be detail oriented and well organized with a great ability to multitask.
Knowledge with the regulatory bodies regarding pig farming and value addition.
Candidate should be proficient in computer knowledge generally.
Knowledge of environmental and biosecurity management.
3. FARM MANAGER Veterinarian
Location: Abeokuta
Requirements
Must be a DVM holder
Must be highly experienced in broiler management
Must have good business management experience of a poultry farm business.
Must be currently working at a reputable Farm
Must posses minmum of 5 years experience working in a poultry farm.
Must understand proactive methods of ensuring good poultry health
Must understand proper biosecurity management
Must be hardworking and have good work ethics
Must be ready to work in line with the goals and objectives of the company
Must be ready to stay on the farm
4. POULTRY PEN MANAGER
Location: Abeokuta
Requirements
Fresh graduate of Animal Science or production with minmum First class graduate. A very intellengent graduate with 2nd class upper division can also apply
Must be ready to learn an adapt to the work style of the farm
Must be able to drive growth
Must be hardworking and have good work ethics
Must be ready to work in line with the goals and objectives of the company
Must be ready to stay on the farm
